I saw them too - the Ent Cent a perfect size to see OS bands back in the day . Was really disappointed some years later when paid a small fortune for tickets in the stand at Homebush and just too big - sound poor and watched it all on the big screen.

Just reading this thread - I also loved the Entertainment Centre as a music venue, saw some great shows there over the years, and the Chinatown meals were a bonus!

I was lucky to see Concrete Blonde twice ()Metro and Phoenician Club). Both excellent venues and they were fantastic

Totally Agree. Plus near public transport.
My first concert was the Entertainment Centre - The Eurythmics in 1986.
Great vibes and sound quality
