The Cowboys are managed worse than us which is surprising. The money spent on The Chad $800k, Dearden $450k with Drinkwater there and releasing Clifford who is better than them is confusing. Holmes and Taumololo on huge deals and they can’t offload Hess & Maclean on big deals. Throw in Luciano on 700k and it’s a hugely top heavy roster. I can’t see how they will sign these kids if we make serious offers.

Only clubs that are a threat of finals hold onto players when they are leaving. We need to negotiate a better settlement but saving cap space if you can sign replacements or lock in players like Stefano or Laurie is a no brainer.

Based on last year Garner and Blore are superior options to Luciano.
