Your team vs Knights

time for some impact off the bench. far too often this year we have capitulated 15 either side of half time. that has to change.

1. Bula (concerned he's not 100% but no real replacement in the squad)
2. Staines
3. Naden
4. Olam
5. Alaimalo
6. Fainu
7. Galvin
8. Twal
9. Simpkin
10. Klemmer
11. Bateman
12. Fainu
13. Matamua

14. Koroisau
15. Pole
16. Utoikamanu
17. Seyfarth
Starting Api from the bench is interesting. Could work 👍

This is a bad suggestion but naden played 5/8 in reserve grade why don't we put him there and put starford back in the centres

I just want someone to explain why we came out so lame in the 2nd half ?
Fitness/ fatigue.
Attitude, no confidence.
Confusion over 1/2 time talk.
Lack of on field leadership.
What is it !! [This word has been automatically removed]ed if I know.

The captain we had on the weekend does not speak intelligable English so that probably did not help but i would say all of those possibilities apply plus somebody spiked all the half time drink bottles

I would not touch that side now that Naden has developed a good combo with Staines. If Starford is available, I would put him on the other wing with Olam to boost our attack futher.

Staines and Nado getting their combo working again,
wouldn't break it up. Latu deserves his shot in the
halves, Bud hasn't showed anything as yet even in
reggies. Api is going 2 B touch & go. I would have
Tallyn on the bench and just let them loose together

You can only play as good as your opponent allows. They ran hard, tackled hard and kicked to corners and the ref blew the pea out of it which absolutely helped their game plan.

Simpkin plays better when he starts and if we can manage Api's minutes coming back then I think that's of a benefit to all involved.
Penrith use to do it often...

He'd wear 9 but Mitch Kenny or some one would start.

Sione Fainu played really well in the trials, if he is fit I'd like to see him replace Seyfarth or Twal(who hasn't offered much)

1. Bula
2. Staines
3. Naden
4. Olam
5. Solomon (willing to give him 1 more game)
6. L Fainu (big reps at 5/8 and less pressure than slotting him straight to 7)
7. Galvin (Good kicking, reads the game well, and is not afraid to demand the ball when he sees opps, has all qualities to become a good organizer and creates when given space)
8. Pole (Just run hard and straight)
9. Api
10. Klemmer
11. S Fainu
12. Bateman
13. Papali'i (Might be better at lock than JB)

14. Simpkin (give Api a rest without losing much momentum, cover backs)
15. Matamua (Replace lock if Ice doesn't perform or needs rest, and cover forwards)
16. Stefano (Shake his ego for impact off the bench, wake up call)
17. Twal

Are we putting weird lineups together...
OK here is mine:
1 Bula (Tempted to do our only other option, Staines but sticking with icecream).
2. Staines
3. Faalagu (no one else is performing, stuff it swap it).
4. Olam
5. Naden (Can be a gritty winger).
6. Galvin
7. Api!
8 Pole
9 Simpkin
10 Klemmer
11 Twal
12 Matamua
13 Bateman

14 Papalii
15 Da Silva
16 Latu
17 Stefano (throw a rocket up him)

Now Api plays 7, what we do is have Simpkin and Da silva in at points at 9. When Da Silva plays, he goes to 9 with Simpkin switching to lock.

Why?
We just play super mobile with the knights. Try something different.
Plus Api is really our best playmaker by far. Put him in at 7 and he can guide the team as second reciever.
