I've heard contrary reports that either the draw is staying the same or will be changed.

For instance, I've heard that our first game back may be against the eels, which means we skipped the bulldogs game and the Warriors game, both 'easier' teams to beat. Does this mean we may have missed out on 4 competition points?

Of course, no game is certain, but I'd back us to beat the dogs and NZ moreso than the eels at this point.

Yeah it’s confusing, they want roosters vs rabbits which was a round three game but tigers vs eels was a round 5 game.

Think they just want the biggest games that will attract the most viewership. Hopefully we get to play every team once anyway

Competition will be at least every team playing each other once!

Don't blame them...considering people from overseas started to watch NRL during round 2. They should just do the classic rivalries for the first few weeks such as Storm/Sea Eagles, Broncos/Cowboys, Roosters/Rabbitohs, Tigers/Panthers/Knights and so on

Yeah I agree with you there it’s a good idea

IMO they will schedule a few blockbuster/rivalry games for the 1st week back but then from then on they will be happy to have mismatch games eg: good teams vs struggling teams for the weeks immediately following. They know people will be salivating at the thought of watching any sort of RL so get a few of the strong club vs weak club matches out of the way while crowds aren't allowed to attend. Then they will be praying crowds will be allowed back in a few months and they will stack blockbuster/highest crowd drawing games towards the end of the season. That way the crowds will be heaving, meaning more money generated for the NRL with gate-takings. It will be interesting.
They should include the 2 games already played towards the standings....no way should the Roosters have the luxury of starting the renewed season on equal points as a club that has already had 2 wins. Feel way more confident of the Chooks not getting that leg-up now that Greenberg is on the scrapheap.

ARL Commissioner Wayne Pearce has said the NRL has the green light from government to restart on May 28 with teams set to begin training on May 4 to prepare for the return to play.

Pearce, who has been heading up the Project Apollo innovations committee planning the NRL's return, said on Wednesday afternoon that the competition would definitely be up and running by the last week of May.

The ARL Commission met on Tuesday before the Project Apollo innovations committee reconvened on Wednesday to discuss plans for the proposed restart of the Telstra Premiership.

"What we achieved today was a lot more clarity around the medical process and what those protocols are," Pearce said."We clarified that May 28 is a definite and also confirmed that May 4 is the resumption date for training. "[Fellow Apollo committee member] Trent [Robinson] is fine, everybody has been supportive. It's very unified around what we feel is right for the game."
