RIP Tezza

The kind of player you can’t stand if he’s in an opposition side, but love him if he’s in yours. Remember waaayyy back in 2002, when we jumped out of the blocks and beat the Dogs and Parra in rounds 1 and 2. Two premiership favourites, he was one of the main catalysts for those wins, Then he got injured and we fell off the side of the earth. So inspirational.

I remember reading in Benji’s book that Tezza backed him up and looked after him when he got tossed around in a brawl on his debut.

memorial games and Wests Tigers are like oil and water but hopefully Benj drives home to the playing group that Tezza is a part of our DNA.
