Sullivan clearly saw the danger as it was happening and made no effort whatsoever to try and get back in cover to assist.

Seyfarth is often all effort, no brains. Yeah he busts a gut but if he stays inside to cover the support it probably breaks down.

I understand that and of course it’s not ideal, but as a coach you are going to be much more disappointed in the player who makes no effort to assist, than you are in the player who makes a genuine effort to assist, but goes for the wrong player.
Much easier to educate someone on dumb decisions than it is on a player making no effort at all.
