Unlimited amounts from corporate sponsors. Therein lies the biggest problem. Teams with zero competition for corporate funds from their area have such a huge advantage over the others. The NRL need to re-jig this so that once a club reaches a designated amount of this sort of "freebie", any additional monies are not allowed to be used towards player salaries.
What a rort. Makes you wonder how certain clubs can even vaguely compete with the bottomless-pit clubs. Thank god rugby league is the sort of sport where guts, determination, heart and soul can sometimes override cash, luxuries and brown paper bags.
