Latu Fainu #282

There is no reason in the world Galvin would entertain the offer even if it was true.

He’s 18 and the starting 5/8 at the club with no indication of him being moved or dropped.

If the noise was re Latu wanting to leave, it would be somewhat believable, albeit still a stretch given his age and the fact he is here with his brothers/hasn’t debuted yet.

The club (Benji, Richardson etc) are well and truly aware of the talent we have in the halves and it doesn’t take more than common sense to figure out the fact they would have had conversations with the talent to let them know what their position in the club moving forward is.

I.e club may have spoken to them and told them they are both viewed as halves and Fainu will takeover from Luai in due course or Galvin to bulk up to move to lock.

Who knows and who cares, don’t feed the media the bs attention they are seeking
Wait till Latu carves it up today and over the next couple of weeks, there will be the same rubbish even though he’s only just started a 4 year contract.

Oh I’m not doubting what you heard. Just saying good luck to them, he’s contracted
Thanks true every club has target's they want and Galvin would be a long term contract for the Dragons with Hunt's age

Doesn't mean they will get him he is just on there wish list like Manu was along with Tedesco the half from North Queensland and Blake from NZ

The club needs to take a long-term approach to get Latu's hamstring issue sorted. Even if it means seeking hamstring specialists & a few months rehab until he can fully load it & sprint at 100%.

From today's DT (Brent Read):

Fainu, in particular, is a major concern for the Tigers given he has endured ongoing issues with his hamstring. The Tigers delayed his start to the season as he struggled with injury in the preseason but it is understood he has suffered a recurrence of the problem, leaving his immediate future in doubt.

He did not look ok in the short time he was on. Didn’t run at all, just catch n pass. Made a lot of tackles in his short stint as runners targeted him and did a good job.

Read somewhere he's ruled out for the weekend and Galvin also picked up a hand injury

Off to the USA? to see Turbo's Guru to get those hammys fixed

I don't know why we rushed this kid back, he was clearly struggling with being 100% fit imo it's only doing him more harm than good. Hammy's can become chronic as we've all seen with a few other players.
