Jayden "Bud" Sullivan #278

The sad thing is.... half this forum would not have picked Bud... and we don't even the guy nor train with him.....Benji picked him.... cause Benji knows more than us......

Tell him he’s playing reserve grade for 4 years or take a full one year payout for $600k.

We pay it out in full this year and forget it ever happened
I know I’ve just bagged the crap out of him but I think he needs time he’s never going to be a Lachlan Galvin he needs to go back to reserve grade and play halfback most half’s reach there peak between 25 and 30 he’s still only 22

If seazer goes down he will be playing halfback and that’s a worry he needs to get some reps in reserve grade

Duuuuude …. Man

He’s sh’t

The sooner we get rid of him the sooner we will try other things that work

3 times starting - 3 times responsible for the first try defensively

Sullivan needs to setup 3 tries per game for the two he costs us

He is dog shiiiiite

Sullivan might even be worse than Brooks but we should give him another ten years to develop so we can be sure
Yeah, let’s increase his salary and give him a 5 year extension. 🤣🤣
But as somebody said he’s young and hesitant about his role. I’d like to see him with some Galvin confidence but that comes from within.
I just don’t think we could give him away at present, so the coach has to keep working with him on his shortcomings and turn him around.
It’s like Blore, I read in the Melbourne paper today that Bellamy said he came from the Tigers underdone and very hesitant. He was going to replace him the other night but he said how impressed he was that he worked through, played the full 80 and scored the winning try.
We’ve got lots of players in that boat so perseverance and hard work the key.

He wasn’t good today outside of the try he set up. That said, I think he need to go back to KOE and work on his game. You cannot compare him to Lachie Galvin who could be that once in a thousand player who makes a transition from juniors to first grade.

Bud is still only young and I can see glimpses but he needs to show more consistency which he could develop in KOE. Has talent but just needs that coaching and time to develop it
