Indeed, good result for Ducati too who needed it. Meanwhile Ricciardo limped home in 9th at Portimao in F1. He actually drove a decent race but still isn't able to drive the car the way he wants.

Yeah, back to back for Jack and so good to see.

Other than hiring some moped style bikes when on vacation, haven't hopped back on real bike since I dropped a Z1R way back in the mid eighties when you could ride anything with a full car licence.

That is a shame, every time I buy a new bike the controller of fun does her tea pot impersonation and tells me one more time "I will not be pick you up from hospital again"
My current ride is Triumph Truxton R and when I am too old to put the leg over, the bike not the missus, I will wheel it into the lounge room

So does anyone on the forum actually ride a motorbike in the Sydney area.
I am a 40 odd year tragic on bikes and it does seem us old blokes are now the only ones doing this any more.
40 years ago no one over 30 pulled up a cafe on the old pacific highway on a bike, now there rarely anyone under 40?
I must be missing something, but it still does it for me when it get it right around a good corner

I'm 27 and I ride, plenty of my friends under 30 ride too.

There are some spots around Sydney on weekends and weeknights you can go to:
- Heathcote Maccas
- Krispy Kreme Liverpool
- Hungry Jacks Cabramatta
- Riverstone KFC
- Krispy Kreme Auburn

There are plenty of groups around Sydney that ride

That is great to hear, but I do not see you guys around the old pacific highway, or going through the national park on a Sunday morning.
Are there many corners at the KFC?
Mate if you ride, you look for corners and away from the cars.
Sorry if I offend you, but I grew up in the outer west, Riverstone actually, and we used to ride our bikes up the Putty Rd, still do this, to the Hunter valley.
Is that what you guys do?

Finally I have worked this out, I live in Enmore & on the weekend I corned a few guys who were out and about on their variously aged BMW. It seems that young folks ride around the city from designate cafe, kfc etc
Get up a sparrows fart and get out of the city & put a few hundred km's on your bike riding around the coast or hills.
Why would you do that?
Was their response.
