Mexican Monkeys (bazzinator here on the forum) had a wonderful victory over Laroche Lions (tiger_one here on the forum), joined in the winning circle by Bon Vivant (Mrs tiger_one here on the forum) and Blueroos (from the WT f/B page). :righton:

BUT perhaps the most decisive win so far this comp was by the ever popular Mighty Leeds (foreveratiger here on the forum) whose victory has taken him to outright 3rd position in a very spirited leader board - on 32 points - just one point away from the equal leaders on 31\. :master:

Some telling results, including Laroche Lions (tiger_one here on the forum) and Bon Vivant (Mrs tiger_one here on the forum) going down in very tight matches.

However, with the festive season almost here, early Christmas presents were awarded to Mexican Monkeys (bazzinator here on the forum) and Mighty Leeds (foreveratiger here on the forum) who each recorded timely wins that have:
(1) reinforced Mighty Leeds in 3rd position on the table (and this time round at the cost of Blueroos (from the WT f/B page), and
(2) where Mexican Monkeys have kept their solid mid-table advance, now being well in the close-up shadows of the leaders.

This EPL fantasy competition continues to surprise and bewilder, but there again, some results reveal the luck and good fortune – oh, and maybe a modicum of great player judgements!
Again this round, consistent form allround was shown by Mighty Leeds (foreveratiger), Laroche Lions (tiger_one), Bon Vivant (Mrs tiger_one) and Mexican Monkeys (bazzinator), while Blueroos went down in a tight one.
And what does all this mean in the scheme of things as we approach the post-Christmas fantasy period?
Well for starters, we have a NEW OUTRIGHT LEADER in the league – and that is (cue massive drum-roll!) Mighty Leeds (foreveratiger) on 38 points ahead of Laroche Lions (tiger_one) on 34, closely followed by Mexican Monkeys (bazzinator) on 33 – that is how close the leading contingent is.
Thereafter are Bon Vivant (Mrs tiger_one) on 29 points, with Blueroos back a tad on 15 points.

Huge congrats to Mighty Leeds who seemingly has sussed out the formula to do a Leicester to the opposition and lead into Christmas. (Maybe James Vardy lives within our forum?? Just sayin’!)

Since the last report, Mighty Leeds (foreveratiger) has risen slightly to 39 points, trailing behind a tad to Laroche Lions (tiger_one) on 46 and Mexican Monkeys (bazzinator) on 40 - that is how close the leading contingent is.
Thereafter, Bon Vivant (Mrs tiger_one) sits on 38 points and Blueroos back a tad on 27 points.

So lots of toing and froing from one week to the next!

I've let you down badly in this Comp :eek:pen_mouth:, i totally got side tracked with all the Comps and haven't seen my side since Christmas i think :brick:, my apologies.
Even with my Supercoach Team…..got no idea what's doing.
 
All good ft, everything still works out (I play mini-comps in my head from week to week just to maintain interest etc, there's so much happening etc).

I might say that I'm already thinking of a more snappy, more fun EPL comp next year - just for West Tigers forum members - so we never just rest on our laurels!
