Barclays EPL Fantasy 2023-2024

Remember, there's an International break on at the minute; matches resume on 21 October.

Overnight Rises:

Son (£9.5M)
Maddison (£8.1M)
Schär (£5.2M)
Andersen (£4.9M)
Digne (£4.7M)

I'm too scared to look. Had some terrible injuries and rookie team selections. Thinking of pressing wildcard and trying again!
You sound like most of us - still a long way to go; injuries and selections are the toughest, need a fair bit of luck too. ⚽ ⚽

A courtesy reminder to fix your Fantasy Teams because Game-week 9 starts Saturday night AEST:

#FPL Game-week #8 is a wrap.

Well done everyone; no matter what your score was, it’s still only the eight week down of a long season, so onwards and upwards from here.

Just to recap:

First off, give yourself a big hand – you’re one of 10,139,946 (and rising!) players world-wide who have (so far) joined the EPL Fantasy Comp – WOW!!

WTF Classic League 23/24

Within the week just gone, there’s been a bit of (not always unexpected) movement on our leaderboard. The top individual team scores this week were LosPorroHermanos with 69, Fantastic FC with 66 and Laroche with 64 points.

Huge congrats to these top scores of the round.

Checking the comp leaderboard shows that our overall top 3 remain as they were last round, albeit scores have brought teams even closer: Fleet Feet is now equal leader with Bon Vivant with 497, and Bon Vivant in 2nd spot with 444, and Laroche still in 3rd with 495 points.

However, please check the Barclays Premier League website for full leaderboard details – the points and teams are getting very close, from the top down.

Week 8 down so we’re barely into this marathon of a comp. There again, it’s a pretty close thing all down the leaderboard, with weekly scores showing how hard winning is, given injuries, player performances and just bad luck (sometimes).

Again, congrats everyone.

WT H2H Fantasy League 2023-2024

Here, with the comp being a weekly format of mate against mate, we have 6 winners.

Game-week 8 has seen 5 clear winners across the games (plus Average had a win over Delta Blues). Our winning teams being: Failure is mandatory, Klopps & Robbers (with the tightest margin, one point 61-60 mover Laroche), gegeg@y, LosPorroHermanos and pepe pig alpha.

After this week’s results, Delta Blues now shares top spot with both LosPorroHermaos and Klopps and Robbers, each with 16 points. Mind you, it’s getting close all round in a very compact leaderboard.

Full details can be seen on the Barclays Premier League Fantasy website.

Well done everyone.

Now, moving on:

Game-week 9 starts Saturday night AEST so a friendly reminder to check your teams before then. Good luck everyone.

If not too sure at any time, check any of the multitude of web resources, f/b, twitter – there’s a zillion “experts” all wanting to say they know! Choose wisely.

By example, this is just one of the sources that might help with all the goss from FPL:

Either way, we’re all in this to do our best, week in and week out.

We just need to release our own:

An amazingly low scoring and hard-to-pick fantasy week with the so-called better players having quiet games, score-wise; and just shows, everyone is in the same boat in this topsy turvy week to week battle of wits and chance.

Congrats to these top scores of the round.

Checking the comp leaderboard shows that our overall top 3 remain as they were last round, albeit scores have brought teams even closer: Fleet Feet remains on top with 677, LosPorroHermanos remains in 2nd with a close up 675, and Fantastic FC stays top 3 on 669 points.

However, please check the Barclays Premier League website for full leaderboard details – the points and teams remain very close, from the top down. In fact, the top 11 teams are pretty much bunched, and even the lower teams are knocking on the door.
