Sam Walker (Roosters) puts on a good ball at the line to create the first try of the match. Try scored by Tubuai.

Try scored by the kiwi fullback Toa (Knights) who ran through Swiss cheese after a scrum 10m out from the Aus try line.

Am I right in understanding no Tigers juniors in either side?

Pretty confident that’s correct.

Sam Walker with a great short kick behind the Kiwi line for Reece Walsh (Broncos) to get through and score.
12-6 Australia

Reece Walsh creates an overlap by committing defenders to put Jackson Topine into some space to score.
18-6

18-6 to the Australian Schoolboys at halftime.
Has been a good contest so far with opportunities for both sides. The Aus side has looked more creative with the ball and defended well on the whole. While the best opportunities for the kiwis have come off the power game using their size advantage to generate quick play the balls.

Defence wasn't a priority in this game. No 4 for Australia has excellent pace and size.

We're due to be signing a bunch of young players so there may well have been some out there, we just haven't announced any signings for next season yet.
