Like everyone I wonder why we get so many injuries. Does one of the experts on this forum have any stats to see if there is a correlation between when we get our injuries and when our forward pack isn't at full strength?
Maybe when the other team is a bit more intimidated they dont go as hard on our guys..I'm just speculating.

Would be hard to pinpoint.

Have a look at some of our injuries that can't really be related to our forwards.

Tim moltzen, pre season. Shattered knee cap, no one near him.

Robbie Farah- dislocated elbow, very unlucky injury.

Corey Patterson- freak hand injury, surgery was undertaken

James tedesco, high ankle strain then broken knee cap.

Chris Lawrence- high ankle strain.

These are very hard to pin point the cause of the injuries.

I only wish we could pin point the cause and fix it. We seem to always have more than any other club.

Is there any correlation between the grounds & training facility?

Those ankle, knee cap injury's could be due to hard surfaces.

Being hit with injuries year after year, is there a ground that stands out where the injuries happen most. Maybe due to day or night games.

"Seem to" isn't meaningful. Until someone actually produces stats for the # injuries, type and weeks out, compared to other teams, then it's all just impressions.

Supporters know the full injury list of their club but probably not anywhere that level of detail for other clubs. If you focus on one group so acutely, it is going to bias your view of that group.

I agree statistics would be handy.

It would be good to see how all squads faired during the year with injuries.

The fact that we have exhausted our 2nd tier salary cap for the 2nd year in a row may give some indication of our squad the last 2 years.
