Not surprised at all with Ponga his back half of the year was miles infront of anyone else and he was always going to snatch most of the points.

Thought the positional awards were pretty spot on.
Maybe To’o for DWZ but still think they got it right.
As for the player of the year…it pays to be the star of a team that doesn’t include other big names and does well….really is not a great marker for the game’s best player.

As for Ponga, halfway through the year we were discussing whether he should give the game away for his health due to his head knocks. He missed the Origin series because of it. To come back and lead his team to the Semi Final and then win the Dally M is some achievement. Good for him.
