Alex Seyfarth #232

But he works hard…. He isn’t NRL quality and never has been. If he is in the side especially as a starter shows how bad our squad depth is.
It’s not rocket science. Coming off two spoons and no improvement in the roster. It goes without saying we have no depth. He’ll play a lot of games this year

I would prefer putting some kids in than him.
At least they have a chance to develop & we might gain something for next season.

Think Galvin will end up at 13 some stage.

Earned the opportunity to impress.

Failed to turn up.

Benji needs to be ruthless. Not the end of the road for him, but Fainu was leagues ahead of him.
Shows glimpses but never has shown consistency.

I hope AD comes back and stands up as a genuine #13 option.
We all know he has his deficiencies though but he's huge and if he could tackle, he'd be a perfect 13.

I'll admit I was wrong. I was never confident as I watched him in SG Ball and thought he was ordinary then, but for some reason I saw something in him the last two years. Well he was just handed to ultimate opportunity and failed. Not just today, but the last trial to.

We desperately need a lock.

1 Bula
6 Fainu
7 Luai
9 Api
13 Galvin

2025
That's perfect
Balanced with experience / young guns

🔥🔥🔥

I have been against all talk of Galvin playing 13 as I thought is was way too early to even think about it. But I think he as it written all over him. If Fainu steps up, then Galvin would kill it at 13 controlling the middle to free Luai and Fainu.

Only issue is we have a weak front row and small backrowers. Quite significant drawbacks.

For it to work we need to offload Bateman and replace him with a Luki type backrower, and offload Klemmer for a large powerful middle.

Mate, you were on of his biggest cheerleaders a few weeks ago. Haven’t gone cold already?

Unplayable.

What's interesting is that it took 16 minutes in a match for coaches to see this. His size limits him and he's also a poor tackler, nevermind his very limited attacking runs.

I don't get what they were doing in the offseason to not be able to identify it. In the stgeorge trial it was the same. Most here saw he can't defend, how did it get to this?

They rolled right through him until he HAD to be pulled.

He has the build of an edge player. He’s too much of a string bean to play in the middle. Opposition forwards think Xmas has come early when they run at him.

It took me all of 10 seconds to see us in defence waiting in a line for Canberra attack. It was groundhog day. No enthusiasm. No one moving forward. But that could be me. Just dumb.
Its not just you. Nothing gets under my skin more than seeing our side standing back 10m waiting for the attack to come to them. Every single tackle you can take at least 5 metres from an attacking team. it just takes desire and a will to win. Each new season I pray for this defensive juggernaut to emerge, but ive been waiting more than half my life.
