2023 Pacific Championships

Yep, there'd be less than 12,000 there...so much for Rugby League being big in South Island!
Hamilton is in the North Island about an hour south of Auckland.
A little disappointing crowd number but RL is a minor sport in NZ. More people would have stayed home an watched NZ v Pak in the cricket on at the same time and tbh thats what i have been watching.

How good is Foran. Footy player through and through. No wonder Des loves him.
How good was he when he was on massive contracts for Parra, Warriors and the Dogs??

The middle portion of his career was way below par!

Was always his best when playing for Manly

Solid leader imo but yeah, some sad years with those clubs 🤣

Lot of players played out of position.

Ordinary bench selections.

Don't get me started on Valentine Holmes - him making this team after the off season scandal only a few weeks ago. Ridiculous.
What about my mate Harry Grant?
Tries hard but just isn’t a rep standard player.
Forward pack were treated like punks…especially the middles.
That was a lesson in Test footy. They should hang their heads.

Forward pass champion today.

Ben Hunt mogged him again today, at the hooker position.

Australia lost because Mal is a poor coach and selector!!

Simple as that!
When it comes to coaching I think Mal is a myth.

Doesn't strike me as being the brightest guy.

Crap bench and don't think too much of Hynes as a super sub middle on the bench.

Terrible missed tackle on Neame, but I suppose he wasn't the only one at fault there.

Poor old Nicho, he has been a bit like Stefano in that he has not really made the most of his opportunities at representative level.
