OFFICIAL Jarome Luai - Official

Nah, strikes me as someone who likes to be challenged, which he will be outside of Cleary's shadow.

Yeah i agree i think his self confidence/ego is exactly what we need and probably what we lack. He will relish the challenge and won't find it daunting or a task.
Before he signed i just thought he was an arrogant tosser which is what he can come across as but he believes in his own ability massively.

Don’t think there was much risk with him but it’s good to see him step up in the last couple of weeks. His kicking game was immense. The kick chase from the Panthers on every kick made his kicks much better.

We should have a strong spine next year, but need more disciplined effort players in the squad.

Spot on.

Yep I wonder if he can kick to the right side of the field but? Seems to only kick on the left most of the time. Halves partner will help next year
He plays on the left side of the field, hence he kicks in that direction.
Given Marshall is keen on playing Galvin on the left with a right foot boot and Sezer / Sullivan on the right I have no doubt we will find out next year as he plays predominantly on the right.

Luai made an interesting comment post game. He said we made sure we played with a hip on our shoulder. That's an interesting mindset. If you think about it, it's pretty good if you can get all 17 taking that attitude. It switches you on. Something we need to look at
It's a much better strategy than ours, playing with a bag of cement on your shoulder...

5 million reasons why he's not plus he still has The Chin in front of him for the 7 at Penrith which position it seems is where he sees his future.
I’m starting to think about our games next year v Penrith when he and Chin go head to head, and Papali’i takes on our forwards.
Lot to look forward to ! ( Coz there’s nothing happening this season).

I know but if he's halfback he has to learn some cross field kicks

The worse we go this year the better he'll like it.
He's coming here to prove who he is.
He'll wanna be a living embodiment of the Situation's catchphrase "The comeback is always greater than the setback".
We just need another 29 players that think like him.

We all hate losing but every game our young blokes like Galvin and the Fainu boys get to play this year is terrific experience for next year when we have the two Penrith boys (plus hopefully a few other star recruits) on board.

I can't believe Jerome Luai isn't a certainty for NSW No6.
Well you have watched the last few Origin's, Haven't you?

We need a 6 that can do more and Ezra Mam beats Jerome Luai.

I would go with Best and Luai in the Centers. Luai can play center and can defend.
Dylan Edwards at Fullback.

Teddy to 5/8. It's a big call but I reckon Teddy can be more dangerous and unpredictable there. Team up with Edwards and suddenly people are guessing.

Mitchell Latrell at 17th man. See where the QLD weaknesses are and have Latrell come in fresher with more energy.

You're living up to your username! Turdesco has never played 5/8 in his life. He has no long kicking game and limited ball playing ability. He would crowd out his outside men worse than Doueihi.
