Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

I agree, if there was anything to be concerned about id say it’s the hamstring injuries at such a young age. Does anybody know how many he has had? Hope it doesn’t turn out like Turbo’s..
I think its been three aggravations this season. The last time I heard is they are looking into overseas options to end it for good.

On the Papalili news I’m absolutely disgusted at his stint at this club.

For a player to indicate before he even steps foot into concord that he had doubts and second thoughts due to our performances as publicly as he did after putting pen to a contract. For a club to be as welcoming as us to bypass that and forgive him and treat him like one of our own to then after 1.5 seasons he makes a request to leave again. Good riddance.

Papalili is a dynamic player and it’s no secret he wasn’t utilised properly but I’m glad we’ve made the decision to get him out cause he’s exactly the type of player we don’t need.

I’ve been made aware the club has approached Sitili Tuponiua not long before this news broke….. take that how you wish.

I’d also be having the manager of Kai Pearce Paul’s number ready to ring come November 1st. Connelly Lemelulu and Teig Wilton also able to speak to clubs in November who should be considered.

If he wants to leave then don’t pay any of his freight next year …., we know that won’t be the case though and they will chip in … thankfully it’s just one year …

another disaster of a signing to join a very long list

Looks very quick also.
When you are a struggling club such as Wests Tigers there are plenty of hidden gems if you look hard enough.
Imagine, going from one struggling tigers team to another struggling tigers team other side of the world hahaha

Why wouldn’t we try to use Papali’i as a piece for a player swap? If there is multiple club interest surely allows us to demand a key player in return to release a year early. Get it if they want him gone but got to make the most of these situations as well. Only reason not to is if we already have a player locked in and not enough cap left to do a trade on top of this.

With Isaiah going I would be targeting Jacob Preston. Pretty sure he's off contract next year.

He's only 22 and he already looks the goods.
Think he re-signed with the Dogs until 2026 in the off season.

No way we will pay one cent , he requested a release and was given one , he leaves we pay zero , $ 640/$ 700 k in the bank and Richo already on a plane to UK on search of players for next season , maybe already has a target or 2 lined up but I feel after last week we will see at least 6 players depart at season end
Ipap , Naden , Staines , Seyfart , Sullivan , Tumeth , Matta , just to start
