Worked for us in the past,Looks very quick also.
When you are a struggling club such as Wests Tigers there are plenty of hidden gems if you look hard enough.
Naiqama, Taupau, Austin, JAC, etc.
We just didn't utilise these players very well.

Warriors not Waratahs Stripes. Not a rugby convert, mate. And give him 2 seasons to adjust to NRL. Yeah been there, done that.
Garner would be much better value than iPap & has experience with Luai as well.Yes- I'd take Garner back.
He offers a good athlete on the edge & is an emergency centre. We actually lack that kind of player, unless Kepaoa could actually take up that role.
Just watched it he’s got some pace, but was out of position a couple of times defensively from what I saw. One did result in Nene MacDonald scoring. Bit concerned with signing SL backs very rarely do they do well in NRL.scored four tries against Castleford a month ago, the first one is particularly impressive. take a look.
Yeah, a couple more reserve graders will do the trick.Anyone who hasn’t seen it, do yourself a favour and watch the NSW Cup highlights from last weekend, Billy Burns with the Jets and Matt Doorey with the Eels.
I know plenty will say it’s only NSW Cup, but rest assured these two have been dominating NSW Cup like this for a long long time, now in the prime of their careers and crying out for a regular NRL opportunity.
Couple them with the emerging Sam Fainu and a few other prospects currently in our own lower grades and we can possibly have strike on our NRL edges moving forward, something we have not had for a long, long time.
With Papali’i likely departing, I would hope we are also looking at an experienced no nonsense player with much better leg speed than any of our current forwards in Jack Williams to either start at 13 or bring impact like he does at the Sharks.
That’s where the good players come from funnily enough.Yeah, a couple more reserve graders will do the trick.
Any of those examples of players coming into a side looking down the barrel of 3 spoons in a row and absolutely killing it?That’s where the good players come from funnily enough.
I just give you Scott Sorensen as an example, do you want another 100 names as further examples ?
At less than a third of the price Doorey is absolutely a better attacking edge forward than Papali’i.We couldn’t get anything out of Papali’, yet Matt Doory is going to come and be an X-factor? Give me a break
And some of you wonder why we never get anywhere. At less than a third of the price Doorey is absolutely a better attacking edge forward than Papali’i.
We can’t score a try so players who run hard, can bust tackles and make line breaks are required.
The added bonus of signing a few players on fringe player contracts is it allows us to upgrade others we need to keep and possibly pay more if a quality player becomes available.
Doorey yes. Burns no. Billy Burns is talented but not consistent. Not sure we are a team that can get the best out of himAnyone who hasn’t seen it, do yourself a favour and watch the NSW Cup highlights from last weekend, Billy Burns with the Jets and Matt Doorey with the Eels.

Yes it is because of suggestions on a forum that we haven't made finals in 13 years. And some of you wonder why we never get anywhere.
Sorry, my apologies.Warriors not Waratahs Stripes. Not a rugby convert, mate.
Paying too much for big average players who are no better than many fringe NRL players is a large part of our problem. And some of you wonder why we never get anywhere.
I’d be on the sack Marshall bandwagon if he did that.would yall take garner back seeming butterfingers wants to quit on us?
Funny you should say that.Is he really going to perform better at our club than Papali’i?
I agree, if there was anything to be concerned about id say it’s the hamstring injuries at such a young age. Does anybody know how many he has had? Hope it doesn’t turn out like Turbo’s..He hasn't had a chance to play in position is what I don't understand. Let him play at lock or 5/8 before saying he is write off. He isn't a hooker, and has only played hooker when forced to internationally
