It's beautiful and is actually where my grandmothers side of the family is from. She was a Moody but also is related to the Rose family.
Funny thing is house we bought in Nambucca was built and owned by a Rose
Nambucca is the same but on a much smaller scale. Used to be a bit edgy here with some hotels being first stop out of his majesty's in Grafton and Kempsey but times have changed.
South Coast is beautiful but as grandparents lived at Harrington we mostly went north for holidays.
Always wanted to live midnorth coast and have finally done it.
Lived near there and while there are some idiots it's no different to anywhere else except it has great beaches and fishing.
Have friends who live In Port Kembla. Magic place. Same with friends who live in Wingdang. 50 metres from the beach with nothing between their house n the beach but sand...
That's the strategy but it's like banking on Phar Lap's colt bring like Phar Lap. We're relying on potentiaI, not actual ability.
I'd prefer we recruit to get to the point where 1st grade is strong while developing juniors; and like Penrith we are discarding the chaff to places like us.
Spent a sunny afternoon wagging school at the SCG - NSW vs. ???
We had the chant - Spasso, Spasso, Spasso going all afternoon. (Apologies to those who are offended - it wasn't 'bad' at the time, and yes, very high school boy humour).
There definitely is a need to trim some of the fairy floss in the club; however, I'd be waiting to see what happens to the team's performance over the next 4 rounds (plus bye) against some of the 'weaker' clubs we will be playing.
Personally, not expecting much better but stranger things have...
