Unless Marshall has had some sort of growth spurt in the past 6months, from what I remember including the u19 SOO last year Faagutu was always bigger than Marshall even when they went up against each other for u18 Mal Meninga Cup in QLD
Well whoever we decide to keep I hope we make the right choice with our young players. Be a shame if we lose a junior and they tear it up somewhere else. I know for Faagutu couple years ago he was touted best lock in Qld alongside Damon Marshall from the doggies and has a resume to back it up so...
Out of the three Faagutu is off contract at the end of next year and he's open to negotiating at the end of this year I think. So do we try and retain him or do we move him on in order to try and get someone else?
Just thinking of how our forumers are saying we need to move a few in order to...
I agree with the assessment of Jordy Miller. Has a massive ceiling but his only downfall is his lack of involvement on the defensive side of the ball. Need to be able to play both sides of the ball in NRL in my opinion. I was however surprised to see Faagutu only get the last 15mins of the game...
I agree with you on getting Jeral Skelton. He was a absolute beast yesterday but to also find out he's averaging 200m per game is pretty impressive and Khan-Pereira would be an amazing buy as he's shown he can play FG. In regards to Faagutu I think the stamina issue is due to lack of game time...
These young kids in TDS, Miller, Faagutu, Laulilii all need to stay in KOE to gain experience and get use to playing this speed of footy. The effort is there they just need to get the legs up there
From what I've seen of them, they've barely had any changes to the team apart from the odd couple per week and the spine has relatively stayed the same which has allowed the players to gel and get comfortable with each other over the past 7rds or so
Didn't get me wrong they have had a few games where they've had major brain explosions eg. their last loss against the storm where they had two shoulder charges and our edge defence can be a little bit suspect at times, and I don't want to overhype these kids in any way, but they've somehow...
From what I've seen so far this year, our starting forwards are good and we have depth in our middles with Aho, Tuipolotu, Herman and Faagutu (playing cup this weekend). Our backrow in Clarke and Broederlow have been strong and solid and while Nicholas is on the smaller side at lock, his defense...

Breakdown of the tries from the game from the Panthers team
I agree with you in terms of Broederlow. The times I've watched him play he's always been a strong runner and seems to know how to get past his defender. Also a strong defender at times. That highlight of Faagutus ball playing is what he had been doing as a lock in QLD prior to coming down. Mind...
