Turned 18 in 1974 and saw my first pub band " The Angels " when they first started out. We were hooked then and couldn't get enough of the live music scene. Every weekend was footy on Saturday, pub somewhere Saturday night, beach for a surf Sunday. No mobile phones or video games. Memories and...
I'm probably a bit older than a lot of you blokes, but I did love a live gig back in the day. Some that come to mind,
Rolling Stones twice, ACDC twice, Fleetwood Mac, Rod Stewart, The Angels, Aus Crawl, Richard Clapton, Jo Jo Zepp and the Falcons, Red Gum, Slade, Icehouse, Crowded House, Sunny...
Nah, may get a better offer or let it go the distance. Already took $2000- off them and they offered me $100- to cash out on Geelong which I took three weeks ago.
Betr Bet had an intro offer when they kicked off last year. Offered 100/1 with max $10 bet on 5 events. Cleaned up on two of them. Panthers game is the last one.
Not sure what type of perch you a talking about BZN. Thought maybe redfin but not if you are at Port. Carp are the big problem in western rivers but again haven't heard of them in rivers around Port. Bit of a mystery, I might have to do a bit of research.
I'm hearing you BZN. I'm 67 and 110kgs, fairly fit and at times it can be a struggle to toss the yak on the racks. Like you said, they are pretty stable. I've never upended it into the drink so far and they are easy to paddle once you find your technique. By perch I presume you are refering to...
BZN, I have your standard, bog average kayak mate. A comfortable seat and a rod holder either side. Small deck at the back for my tackle box and a holder for my net. Suits my needs as I get up into the mangrove backwaters where power boats can't get. Most of my spots are within a 10/15 minute...
Other than Api and Bula, I can't see anyone else in the team that is dangerous with the ball in hand. Our halves are pedestrian getting the ball to outside backs or finding an edge backrower and then panick sets in on last tackle options.
Pole and Matamua have footwork and skills as ball playing...
So Moses signs with the Slimeys for less money than we reportedly offered rather than play alongside the Imp for the next five years.
Probably the smartest decision he ever made.
If you want to know all about fishing Nambucca, follow a bloke named Didio. Has plenty of videos from blackfish, flathead, bream, whiting to mudcrabs reef and surface fish. He is a local and what he doesn't know about fishing Nambucca isn't worth knowing.
Still have a good run of blackfish here at Caloundra over the winter months. Love watching the old blokes fishing for them using all the old gear. They are still pretty good at getting a feed. Weed pretty scarce up here so they use cabbage they get off the ocean rocks.
