CEO - Shane Richardson

Its an educated guess

Idk what this means

The comment about rich talking to members only, it's meaningless he isn't talking to members or non members and most people don't even want to talk to him, yet everyone has their panties in a bunch. How many times did you have hart felt chats with Pascoe during his reign ??? If you want to get you message across to the CEO stick it on a banner on the hill at Leichhardt or Campbelltown - it would be more effective thank giving him a few pointers on how to do his own job one on one .....

I did have one chat with Pascoe after my ex brother in law cracked his third and fourth vertebrae. Pascoe invited him out to training and the club looked after him. As big of an issue I had with Pascoe, I was always grateful for that personal experience.

He has been here 8 weeks, we have had well over a decade of unprofessional incompetent management, I humbly suggest he hasn't even scratched the surface of what needs fixing yet....
Right..I don’t recall anyone saying otherwise.

despite the ticket prices and position in the ladder LO still gets very good crowds
People want to go there

$50 for a GA ticket is crazy but people pay it
I dunno about now but it was $60 to sit parralel to the dead ball line at LO in recent years, not sure if that was GA tho... There comes a line that gets crossed personally when I know I'm being ripped off I lose any enjoyment
Took the missus to a 5 star joint for a few nights for our anniversary... We were charged $16 for a carafe of water, it's hard for me to ignore that shit not that I can't afford it just its a blatant rip off
I find it hard to sit thru our games on TV let alone going thru the 'match day experience' if I'm at the ground and they play like the other night I just get Mega pissed off and then to think I've paid for the privilege I wonder why I don't just go a watch a good movie in the city instead... At least I'd probably enjoy that

I think back to those two seasons of '10 & '11... Playing home games at the SFS and battling peak hour traffic many Friday nights to watch em live but it was not a chore or felt like an ordeal we were playing great footy and they were giving the punters value for money

Why not? You don’t think the club is that popular? They are one of the most highly rated clubs on FTA. Even when they lose
What real rugby league supporter watches FTA??

A redundant marketing metric in 2024!

If anything it just shows how "casual" the supporter base is...

Same supporters who don't watch ANY other games - and start calling for no-names to be signed when they have big moments against the Tigers in one of the handful of games they do watch...

I think my leagues club suggestion was another type of membership which is more venue and entertainment based.

Most of us would eat and drink at a venue many more times in a year than attend games.

I don't think voting comes into it for that, but to answer your question, anything you charge needs to be commensurate with what other clubs charge.
Rabbitohs fans pay $2k to be in Member Co which is the 25% ownership, entitling them to all the bells and whistles.
They tap into the tribalism of what it means to be a loyal fan.
We would only need 8,000 members to pump in Richo’s $15m pa.
It would pretty much guarantee we play finals footy every season?

200 000 where did you pull that magically unverifiable figure from ???
I have to come to GNR's defence here and support his educated guess of 200,000 fans.

Richo's recent revelation that membership numbers have been reported as more than double that of what they should have been due to the addition of something like 11,000 non paying memberships to boost the numbers.

Based on this example of creative accounting and taking into account Lee's claim that there were 380,000 or 400,000 Wests Tigers fans, it is not unreasonable to conclude that Lee's claim could very well be inflated by a multiplication factor of 2.

I am not suggesting that the figure of 200,000 is factual because as you say, it is unverifiable but I can understand how someone could have arrived at such a figure based on previous exaggerations.

Plenty still do.
The overall figures for 2023 are:
FTA Total = 62.786million - up 3% YOY
Foxtel and streamers = 104.622million - This is combined at effectively a 1:1 ratio (I.e. 52 odd million each).
