    Brandon Wakeham

Hundreds of players in the NRL. Young, high spirited, aggressive, peer-oriented, all chockas full of testosterone. The only surprise is there aren't more incidents.

    Psychology.

The club's been dicey mentally for years now. Even during the Ninth-Every-Year period, whenever there was a crunch game that could help them qualify for the semis, they would be not just beaten, but smashed. I think they need to focus on enjoying their footy, remembering the passion for the...

    My BENJI 2024 Expectations!

Titans are now improving after a poor start, and they are only one win behind us. Dogs have improved heaps. St George are improving. Souths had a nightmare draw, and it will be a lot easier from here on. Dolphins are in the 8. I was optimistic until the Dragons game. Benji and the boys have a...

4 weeks for Sezers hip drop

Seems to be the smaller players getting pinged for these tackles. The only big forward I remember doing it is Payne Haas and it was a desperation tackle to stop a try. The trouble is that players are now so huge, and there's a ton of pressure to not miss tackles. Sometimes it seems that small...

4 weeks for Sezers hip drop

Why did Milne, a serial offender, get two weeks for directly attacking the legs of a player and Sezer gets fourr weeks for getting a tackle wrong. That' dodgy. The NRL must explain the difference.

    Remember the good ole days...

Yes, WT tried to be a solid defensive outfit under Madge and that was never going to work. This was always a club of razzle dazzle, as capable of smashing teams as being smashed. It was fun and it was frustrating. I liked that commitment to attack - they put on good games to watch, no matter who...

LIVE GAME Round 9 vs. Bulldogs

Rough around the edges but I like the potential of this team - Bula, Galvin, Pole, Fainu, And Utoi.

LIVE GAME Round 9 vs. Bulldogs

Finally a decent call. Oh well. This was always going to be a tough game

LIVE GAME Round 9 vs. Bulldogs

Abysmal refereeing. She has made so many bad decisions, usually against the Tigers.

LIVE GAME Round 9 vs. Bulldogs

All the calls are going the Dogs' way

    Remember the good ole days...

I remember that every year there would be a late season crunch game. This would be it. Win and you're in. WT often started these games as favourites but would always lose, usually badly. There has long been a problem with the team dealing with favouritism.

    Building resilience in NRL teams

That's a more serious one because he had a life-altering seizure and had allegedly been denied water.
