At worst you could say Sezer was guilty of some poor technique. However, there was no malice and in the end the Canterbury player wasn't injured. He cops loading for prior dangerous contact offences which I don't believe were hip drops and is facing a minimum 4-week suspension. Taane Milne tries...
No one had a great game but here goes:
3 Papali'i - very solid first half, game didn't go his way in the second half
2 Galvin - generally looked most likely to be able to create something
1 Staines - two tries and from memory no errors
Very frustrating game. Effort was mostly there but...
Wasted opportunities when in good field position and some poor kicking hurt us. Bad bounce when Staines was clear ended up being a 12 point turn around.
In a game that for years has dealt with some questionable incidents on the field and some unsavoury behaviour off the field, no one ever said a bad word about Keith Barnes

Plenty of other good games, including from the usual "whipping boys" Staines and Seyfarth.
Scrappy in parts but a gutsy win
Difficult this week with so many good performers
3 Api - commitment and class
2 Bula - safe at the back and great attacking involvements. Also ran down the Sharks winger
1 Sezer - steered the side and had a great kicking game
Galvin and Olam were great contributors as well. I thought all the...

Fainu was good off the bench. Bula had some good moments as well. Need to get him involved more. Some better defensive centres will help. If you get beaten by 20 points the loss can't be blamed on the referee but the officiating didn't impress me.
Living in a household full of Penrith supporters our "golden years" can't come quick enough. Maybe the Tigers dominate the second half of the decade like the Panthers have the first.
Was in the Abba museum in Stockholm - my wife is an Abba tragic - and was reminded of this very respectable early 80s effort from Frida
