Lot of people on social media saying it's because there is worry he might end up a utility. His dad is apparently a bit of a yapper.. all he wants is to know what spot they see him playing in the team going forward so he can nail it down. Doesn't care if its in the spine or at centre / wing...
I don't think those teams value Stefano that highly to be honest, probably a 600k / 3 year offer at most of those clubs.
Penrith are seemingly lining up Fifita with their JFH $ and Roosters have their 2 starting props cap wise with Collins & Leniu. Teams don't spend big $ on 3 props, Hargreaves...
If he wants to play spine I think 6 is the only position for him as every team has their fullback and he isn't a game manager.
In that case it leaves maybe Cowboys (Chad leaving) & Roosters (Keary leaving). I don't see him wanted to go to Cowboys and I am not sure he is what Roosters need...
I'd say the majority of the smaller locks in todays game have a fair bit of mongrel though. I agree, you probably don't need mongrel if you have the size of a Yeo, but the smaller Murrays, Radleys and Mcinnes' of the game all make up for it elsewhere.
I don't think someone who can defend "relatively brave" is our answer.. also if you want to mold a half into a lock then surely you do it with one of our existing halves?
We need some mongrel, not someone who's "relatively brave"
