Badger put in a third rate performance, losing control of the game in the process. Nothing to do with gender. Even the NRL's chief referring stuffup apologist had to admit that gender was not a factor.
We need Api there every week to win games and really missed him today. Add to that the amateurish sub-standard refereeing (a total joke) and the result isn't really all that surprising. Api's that important both as arguably the best 9 in the competition and as an inspirational leader.
The humourless boofheads running the game now wouldn't know how to handle a character like Terry, one of the finest nigglers/stirrers the game has ever seen, quite apart from his ability as a damn fine centre. No room for these characters in the game anymore sadly.
We're doing better than a few better rated outfits, have a coach prepared to give good young players like Galvin a go and to call out bad performances like yesterdays and a pretty decent spine that will only get better when Luai gets here in 2025. I think we're going OK overall.
Wouldn't take too much notice of anything emitting from any of the NRL media swill. If Richo decides to stay at WT, head back to Souths or go someplace else, I'm sure he'll let us know soon enough.
Avoided this talkfest for a long while but had a look again recently after our Sharks win. Couldn't believe what I was hearing. Rothfield saying we were an exciting young team and that he no longer believed we'd finish last again in 2024. And we all know who the bloke supports and his long term...
