Rumour - Pascoe / Moses

I fail to see how both decisions would be as a result of each other. I think the rumour is BS but if it did happen, the timing would be merely coincidental. E.g. MM contract negotiations finally being agreed to and Pascoe being the fall guy for the poor recent years at the club (which aren't his fault). Id be happier if MM came and the board were given the ass.

Wrong person would be leaving. It goes higher than that. Wrong player would be coming, Moses won’t improve the team enough to account for his value, and he’s toxic. If this all eventuates I could only see it as a setback. Might get lucky with a new CEO, but ultimately the board is driving the whole organisation.
Yep, the Board caused Ice to drop the ball twice in the 1st two games and caused him to cop a week's suspension. The Board and Pascoe caused Doohey to be a huge flop in the first 3 weeks. The Board made Laurie's pathetic bomb-catching efforts. The Board is totally responsible for loose carries. As Iggy Pop once said - I'm Bored - I'm Chairman of The Bored!

Look I am busy for the next week and I have a cruise coming up in 2 months time , but I am sure I can fit the job into my schedule, if the club can contact me in regards to my wage package I promise I won’t take as long as Moses to make up my mine . 🤪
The occasional trip away during the season never stopped Justin - congratulations, when can u start?

Pascoe May have some faults but he is not the one holding this club back. It all comes back to the roster and lack of high quality game breakers. Api is a step in the right direction, but good sides have four or at least three quality players in the spine, we have one. As we have found out a truck full of money doesn’t attract the elite players to sign on with us. So it’s going to take some time and luck to get this club off the canvas.

Zero from three against bottom eight teams is far from ideal, but I get the feeling things will get better over the next few months, might not translate into many wins, but I think they might push a few teams unlike last year

i'm off on a cruise in June - by then the season will be truly over for us so i won't have to worry about trying to catch the games.
Enjoy your cruise dp....smooth sailing 🚢 and don't get too sunburnt 🥵

The way Shonky Sheens is coaching the team we will be dead in the water after 8 more games

I listened to his interview on one of the wests podcasts and he actually said “we had no idea if Benji could coach when we hired him”

Imagine that. I get he doesn’t catch the bombs or score the try’s but he’s involved in the appointments of people that either do or the people tasked with training the people that do. He is a dud and needs to go.

Justin is the one who is responsible for assembling the team who assembled the playing roster.

He IS the problem.

He is picking the coaches and the football department.

He is the one who is inadvertently getting involved in player negotiations etc.

He is the face of the administration - he is the head of the company.

He is either the unluckiest CEO in history OR he has poor judgement or business skills …

He has been outplayed by Penrith , the bulldogs, player managers and has had poor decision making

It was Justin’s opinion that we should’ve hire Wayne Bennet bc he couldn’t come for a year - which would’ve been worth the wait - however also knowing that any coach who signs with another club a year out is most likely going to be released earlier from his current club bc it’s untenable … that is just ONE wrong decision he made … there are countless

If he was the CEO of Apple - and the iPhone didn’t work - it’s his fault ! Even though the Head of Engineering is responsible for the product working. The CEO picks his team.

Justin has picked Cleary, Madge, Sheens etc.

Yes he has a board but it is his recommendations.

Everyone saying Justin isn’t the problem is blaming the jockey for not winning the horse race… Justin picks the JOCKEY!

And the board PICKS Justin - so they are also accountable.

Any company in the world would not keep a CEO who has failed to make the 8 in a decade.

The board are just as bad for keeping him but getting rid of Justin PROVIDED we pick someone better is the right move.

Let's be really honest Pascoe is not the only problem fixture at West Tigers is he??
Ever since the merger began we have taken 2 steps forward and 20 steps backwards and keep stepping backwards ,we are surrounded by negative press, overpaid players who do not put a decent shift in on a consistent basis and we are chasing a good halfback and offering $1.5 million a season to this player that is not worth $800,000 a season. The old saying is 'you reap what you sow'. The current board and its mates has been setting this club back for years and will do so for years to come, because the club will not allow outside investor to come in a buy the club and clean the mess up.

The appointment of Benji was actually a real brave call. The club can’t attract players so they are banking on his stature in the game to attract players . As for his coaching ability, who knows, but sometimes you have to take a punt when everything else has failed. Iam a massive critic at some of the calls that have been made by the club, but I back them on the Benji call

Sorry but that’s not how it works. The board makes the calls and give Pascoe directions. Sure he would have input, but ultimately the board make the calls and he implement them.

Till the club has sustained success any CEO, Coach and board will struggle. To achieve this success will be a long road

That's not right mate. A board appoints the CEO to run the joint. The board then set the KPIs and strategic direction for the organisation but it's all on the CEO to implement.

Absolutely incorrect … the board takes recommendations from the CEO and votes on it.

That is corporate governance 101.

I sit on 4 boards - 2 private and 2 public companies.

Lee signed Nofa on a 5 year deal.

Is it Lees fault that we have Nofa for that long or Nofas fault for playing badly.

Ultimately it’s both their fault which is why they both should be accountable.

Right now Nofa gets dropped but Lee says “it’s not my fault”

Those guys are jumping on Mole's rumour to try and get attention and clicks.

Almost every rumour they've posted has been wrong. Latrell signed to Ciraldo agreeing to terms to Crichton joining. Best to ignore them.
