Krisnan Inu
I know there was already a topic about this but its been locked.
Krisnan Inu can't even make the Parramatta run on side. In fact he's on an extended bench so it's likely he won't even play FG this week.
Obviously he will get more chances to play this year, but its clear he isn't first choice at Parramatta. He is also apparently on big coin (rumoured at $200K).
Now, I know we have Jake Mullaney, but there is no guarantee he is going to make it. Obviously he might, but I'd say we won't know for a while and it will be a couple of years before he's a consistent FG player, IMO.
I think Inu would be a fantastic buy. Can play fullback, wing or centre. Realistically I would play him at fullback, but if Mullaney breaks through he could play wing or centre, with Ayshford perhaps moving to the forwards eventually?
Anyway, this backline is absolutely fantastic, at least on paper:
1. Inu
2. Tuiaki
3. Tuqiri
4. Lawrence
5. Ayshford

Dont need any more big $$ outside backs-spend the money on front row depth which is where we'll likely trip up yet again this year

Re: Krisnan Inu
he is not on the tigers radar at all not last year not this year not next year.
while i agree he would be a great signing hes not what the club is looking at right now, look for the warriors and the bulldogs to make a play for inu

Re: Krisnan Inu
I would love to sign up Inu, especially since it would fill our fullback troubles and Moltzen could play in the halves with Benji.

Inu IMO is better than Burt and Reddy for starters.

Re: Krisnan Inu
Hybrid I agree that simply because Anderson isnt picking him doesnt necessarily suggest anything about his ability. Anderson, like his mentor Brian Smith, can make strange selections at times. That being said, it was sufficient money to get him here. I think that money could be better spent as my feeling is that our backline is pretty well covered (so long as fitzy stays out of it).

Re: Krisnan Inu
I wouldn't swap anyone for him. He can't handle pressure.

I was at Henson Park on Saturday to watch the double header and for the life of me I cannot understand why we signed Daniela and Brown over Davis and Pritchard. They are a class above reserve grade!

maybe according to Sheens Davis and Pritchard will never see first grade. It happens to some players.
