laurie daley

Postby white » Thu Mar 11, 2010 9:30 am

Did anyone else notice how daley sang the praises of ennis. It was such biased commentary from a state of origin selector. He had little or nothing to say about the tigers and had no comment about fantasy league when it was stated how many points farah accrued last year.I hope farah sticks it right up daley and makes it near impossible not to pick him. Farah has being playing behind a frail pack last year anf now has the tools to rip teams apart. give it to them boys

i remember running into him at the back of the ground after the GF in '05. He was quite obviously very non-plussed that we'd won it.
He hates the Tigers & always has.

daley is a tool. the bloke has no idea, i cant believe the golden run he league has given him.

rep coaching jobs and he hasnt even been a full time assistant coach for a club. nsw selector for 4 years straight for 4 losing series.

C'mon you guys are being waaaaaay too harsh on the Snozzzz..

Remember this is the guy who gave as such commentary gems as-------->

'It's a game of 2 halves'......'Whoever scores the most points in the second half should win'..........If you control the ball and shut down the opposition in D your a chance'...

Other than that he's not to bright.....he can't even sit down in a chair...ask Gus....

He did nothing but praise the tigers on NRL on Fox last night. He even went on to say Melbourne are probably the favourites for this year's comp, but the tigers are a big chance as well with no mention of the other teams.

I loved Daley when he played for NSW. I respected him when he played for Canberra. I laugh at him whenever I see him as a commentator.

of course he would.
i stopped watching state of origin after the 1st game last year.(and that was after refusing to watch origin the last 10 years)
couldn't believe that a coach with the success bellamy has had used farah for inside balls the whole time he was on the field.
talk about a waste of farahs talent.

I cant stand him either. As a footballer i thought he was well overrated. The guy was very tough, and i admire him, but no way he was the player most think. As a commentater, well, he's down right embarrassing.

As a commentator he is up there with the most embarrassing Gus Gould! They always overstate the obvious!

The Wizz still takes the cake with "He was inspirational in the second half, especially in the last 40 minutes."

Bellamy is still filthy that Farah didnt disclose how serious his rib injury was in 09.He's gonna opt for Ennis for game 1.

No he won't , cause Robbie's fantastic play in the first 8 weeks this season , will leave Bellamy no choice but to pick him.

Robbie is primed for a great season, he's stronger and ready....you can see it in his eyes
