2010 halfback poll
I would like to know who you think will have the 7 jersey for the majority of 2010.

Re: 2010 halfback poll
Moltzen for mine... I think the proof was there for blind freddy to see at the end of the season.
Moltzen and Marshall are a proven combination and work well I think Sheens would be silly to do anything else... however on the flip-side Tuamata could kill it there! Moltzen wasn't terrible at fullback as many have made out either..
Either way... i think the Tigers will have alot of success there. For me it's safer to give Tuamata the number 1 and Moltzen the 7 jersey...

I think this ones a double edged sword moltzen may provide a better combo with marshall but then we lose his effectiveness at fullback so maybe taumata is the answer.

Nice problem to have
Motlsen at No7 for Continuety sake. AJ has been given a go at a few clubs, so that tells me that this guy is special.
I dont see him @ #1 or at #14 for long if he gets it together. Half back is what he has been bought for.
PS - Dont forget Lote's on the way (if not unjured in UK)

I say trial Moltzen and Taumata at 7 and 1 in the trials and make a decision from that.

Re: 2010 halfback poll
dont really care. 7 is nothing without 6 particulary at our club. what i want to see is great combination forming in the halves. may the better halves or uninjured halves win. Its good to have a bunch of them to choose from.

Timmy should get the 7. Taumata should be first back up. Lui should be no where near NRL until he pulls his finger out.

That's pretty harsh... he played very well last season and when he played first grade he didn't go to bad at all..

I haven't mate and that's why I think it will be wise to put Moltzen at 7 from the start of the season... give AJ fullback so he can ease into a play-making role if he is to take one up... (similar to what Sheensy did with Moltzen last season)

I selected Moltzen but Taumata is definitely going to get a shot at 7 at some stage.

Re: 2010 halfback poll
i had the funniest dream last night.
it was round 1 2010, taumata was wearing the 6 jersey and benji was wearing the 5 jersey (covering for tuiaki perhaps)
i know it was a weird dream....but who knows?

Does anyone know for sure about Lui still being available for the NYC team?
If so I think Lui should have another season in NYC then we can have another look at him...

Lui is available for the NYC again this season as in Aaron Woods. It is part of the reason I cannot understand them being on NRL squad contracts this season

Mullaney is as well. Woods is elligible for Toyota Cup in 2011 as well.

The only reason I could think of is to appease them and their managers in case another club swoops and picks them up....
Mullaney was reported to have been chased by the Sharks wasn't he?
