David Fafita, a Griffith Waratah junior, debuted for the Wests Tigers NYC Toyota Cup side in 2009 alongside his brother Andrew. He is a powerful second rower/prop who played 19 games, mostly off the interchange bench, scoring 2 tries.

He was a member of the 2009 Grand Final side against the Melbourne Storm.
