Playing career
Jay Florimo debuted for the Wests Tigers NYC Toyota Cup side in 2009 after being signed from the Central Coast. Florimo played 24 games in 2009 showing his versatility by playing both hooker and in the halves when required, covering both positions well.
He was named on the interchange bench for the NYC 2009 Toyota Cup grand final against the Melbourne Storm.
