Beau Ryan

Playing career

Ryan played junior football with Wests Illawarra. In 2003 Ryan was selected to represent in the New South Wales Schoolboys team, Beau later made his debut for the Wests Tigers against Canberra Raiders in Canberra in July 2007.

He plays wing and can cover a few positions in the backline including fullback and centre. In 2009 Ryan had played all 22 games scoring 13 tries until injury struck him down in the same game as his wing partner Taniela Tuiaki in the blockbuster of the year against the Parramatta Eels (Rd 23). Ryan scoring a double, the second coming after he returned to the field after being injured in scoring his first.

In November 2009 Wests Tigers extended Ryan's contract untill 2012. Upon his signing Beau said “I am very happy with the new deal. Wests Tigers will enjoy some exciting times in the next few years and it is great to know I will be apart of it.’’
