Playing career
Blake Lazarus was a member of the inagural Wests Tigers U20's Toyota Cup Team. He had played the year before alongside Tim Moltzen for Wests Tigers feeder club Balmain Ryde Eastwood Tigers (BRET),
In 2008 while leading point scorer in the Toyota Cup competition Blake suffered a season ending knee injury which required reconstructive surgury. Creully for Blake, playing a trial game for BRET. whilst vying for the vacant fullback position left by Brett Hodgson's departure to Huddersfield in the English Super League he suffered another knee injury requiring another reconstruction so sadly Blake's season was over before it began again.
Blake works extremely hard of the field and is heavily involved with a number of charities espcially in the Campbelltown area. His determination to play first grade for the Wesrs Tigers will ensure he will achieve his goal sometime in 2010
